ARIA Resort — a resort with technological comfort.

Introduction

ARIA Resort is one of the most modern and technologically advanced resorts on the Las Vegas Strip, located in the very heart of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the flagship hotel of the CityCenter complex, combining a world-class casino, high-tech architecture, eco-friendly technologies, and premium service. Transparent facades, panoramic windows, and ultra-modern interiors make ARIA visually unique among the hotels on the Strip.

The main feature of the complex is the integration of “smart” technologies into every aspect of the stay: automatic control of lighting, temperature, and curtains in the room, eco-friendly ventilation systems, and advanced gaming areas with modern slots and tables. ARIA is known as one of the first major hotels in Las Vegas to receive the LEED Gold certification for environmental friendliness and energy efficiency.

History

ARIA Resort & Casino opened on December 16, 2009, becoming the central element of the CityCenter Las Vegas project, which cost about 9 billion US dollars. The project was developed in cooperation between MGM Resorts International and the investment fund Dubai World. The architectural firm Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects created elegant towers of glass and steel, while interior designers focused on modern lines and functionality.

Development stages:

  • 2006–2009 — construction of the CityCenter complex, including ARIA, Vdara Hotel & Spa, Crystals, and Mandarin Oriental.
  • 2009 — grand opening of ARIA with a large-scale media show and the launch of all 4,004 rooms and the casino.
  • 2013–2017 — upgrades to gaming areas, implementation of new in-room control technologies, and expansion of dining concepts.
  • 2020–2023 — modernization of the room inventory and renovation of public areas with a focus on comfort and energy efficiency.

The main idea of ARIA is the harmonious combination of luxury, technology, and environmental responsibility. This approach has made the resort popular among gaming enthusiasts, business travelers, and admirers of modern design.

Architecture and Design

Style — modern high-tech with elements of minimalism. Facades of transparent and tinted glass create an effect of openness and allow panoramic views of the city and the Nevada mountains.

Interiors — spacious, with high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and natural materials: stone, wood, metal. The color palette features warm neutral tones with bright accents.

Interesting details: an extensive collection of contemporary art integrated into public areas, including sculptures, light installations, and media art. The lobby features interactive panels for guests, and in waiting areas — designer furniture and works by artists from different countries.
